Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: June 16, 2026
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy (the "AUP") sets out the rules that apply to everyone who accesses or uses Assenture (the "Service"). It is part of, and incorporated into, our Terms of Service. Defined terms used here have the meaning given in the Terms of Service. By accessing or using the Service you agree to comply with this AUP. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
2. Who this applies to
This AUP applies to you (the account holder), to anyone you authorise to use your account, to any visitor to our website, and to anyone using the Service through an API key, integration, or share link issued from your account. You are responsible for the acts and omissions of all such persons as if they were your own.
3. Prohibited content
You must not upload to, store on, transmit through, or generate using the Service any content that:
- is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, harassing, threatening, hateful, or discriminatory;
- sexually exploits or endangers minors in any way, including child sexual abuse material;
- incites or facilitates violence, terrorism, or self harm;
- infringes any intellectual property right, trade secret, right of publicity, or right of privacy;
- contains personal data of any individual without a lawful basis for processing it through the Service;
- contains malware, ransomware, spyware, trojans, worms, time bombs, or any other malicious code;
- is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive, or designed to phish credentials or financial information;
- misrepresents your identity, affiliation, or the origin of the content;
- is regulated content that you are not licensed to handle (for example, certain categories of health, financial, or government data);
- contains export controlled or sanctioned material, or originates from or is destined for a sanctioned person or jurisdiction.
4. Prohibited conduct
You must not use the Service to, or attempt to:
- violate any applicable law, regulation, or order of any court or regulator;
- harm minors in any way;
- impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state your affiliation with a person or entity;
- send unsolicited commercial communications (spam), chain letters, or pyramid schemes;
- engage in market manipulation, insider trading, money laundering, terrorism financing, tax evasion, sanctions evasion, bribery, or corruption;
- collect or harvest information about other users without their consent;
- interfere with or disrupt the Service, the servers or networks connected to it, or any user's enjoyment of it;
- use the Service to build or train a competing product or service, or to benchmark its performance for commercial publication, without our prior written consent;
- resell, sublicense, rent, lease, time share, or otherwise commercially exploit the Service except as expressly permitted by your subscription plan;
- remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary notice on the Service.
5. System and network integrity
You must not:
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any Assenture system or network without our prior written consent (we operate a separate responsible disclosure programme, see section 11);
- breach or circumvent any authentication, security, rate limiting, geo blocking, or usage control;
- access any account, data, system, or network that you are not expressly authorised to access;
- introduce, transmit, or activate any malicious code or device;
- use the Service to launch or amplify a denial of service, brute force, credential stuffing, or other attack;
- forge headers or otherwise manipulate identifiers in order to disguise the origin of any content transmitted through the Service.
6. Automated access, scraping, and APIs
Automated access is permitted only through our documented APIs and only in accordance with the rate limits, authentication requirements, and developer terms we publish. You must not scrape the Service, harvest content from it, or extract structured data through any means not expressly permitted. You must not use bots, crawlers, or other automated means to create accounts, submit content, or generate traffic.
7. AI features
When you use AI features in the Service you must not (a) submit prompts, files, or other inputs that violate sections 3 to 5 above; (b) use outputs to generate content that you know or should know is illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, infringing, or harmful; (c) attempt to extract the system prompt, training data, model weights, or confidential safety filters; (d) use outputs as a substitute for professional advice where such advice is required by law or industry standards; or (e) attribute outputs to a real person without their consent.
8. Fair use of resources
Each subscription plan includes generous but finite resources (such as storage, AI tokens, API requests, and emails sent). If your usage materially exceeds the limits described in your plan, or if a small number of accounts are consuming a disproportionate share of shared resources in a way that degrades the experience for others, we may throttle, suspend, or require you to upgrade. We will give you advance notice where reasonably possible.
9. Third party services
Where the Service integrates with third party services (for example, payment, banking, accounting, storage, or AI providers), you must comply with the acceptable use rules of those services when using them through Assenture. We may suspend an integration if the third party reports a violation.
10. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations of this AUP. We may, with or without notice and in our sole discretion: remove or disable access to content; throttle, suspend, or terminate your account; revoke API keys; preserve and disclose information to law enforcement; and take any other action we consider necessary to protect the Service, our users, or third parties. Where possible, we will use the least disruptive measure appropriate to the situation.
Suspension or termination for a violation of this AUP does not entitle you to a refund of any fees paid in advance and does not relieve you from your obligation to pay fees accrued before the date of suspension or termination.
11. Reporting
To report a violation of this AUP, including abuse, infringement, or illegal content, write to business@assenture.app. To report a security vulnerability under our responsible disclosure programme, write to business@assenture.app before performing any testing.
12. Changes
We may update this AUP from time to time. The updated version takes effect on the "Last updated" date shown above. If we make material changes we will give you reasonable notice through the Service or by email.
